Discover DeFi on Avalanche with Avascan
We already saw some DEXs make their way into Avalanche, but this is just the beginning: few weeks ago, we launched the DeFi Avalanche Telegram community to track and discuss all-things-DeFi on Avalanche: over 300 members already joined!
This is what users tell about the group:
“You’ve found a gem group”
“This is definitely a more civilized level headed chat”
“It’s impossible to keep up with the trading channel. You can have a real discussion here, there’s been some good chat & insights”
”Even though I haven’t been able to check as often as I like, there’s always solid analysis & commentary here & now one of my pinned groups in my AVAX folder. cheers!”
This is the best avalanche group that I know of. At least people make sense and actually communicate!!
This week in Avalanche
- The Graph is now integrated with Avalanche. This means developers are now able to easily and reliably query Avalanche’s on-chain data within their applications via The Graph’s subgraphs.
- AllianceBlock is integrating its DeFi product suite. Expected to be live in Q3, users will be able to access AllianceBlock’s DeFi Investment Terminal, compliant P2P financial services, NFT capabilities, trustless KYC and identity verification solutions, and derivative pricing engine and analytics on Avalanche.
- The AVAX podcast, hosted by Chris Hart. The first episode is up featuring Hari Seldon one the founders of Crypt, a decentralized estate planning app built on Avalanche.

This week in DeFi on Avalanche
We’re starting to summarize what’s hot in the DeFi Avalanche group every week. Join the Telegram group to know more every day.
Pangolin, one of the most talked names in the Avalanche network lately, with its ups and downs is getting it together once more! Pangolin governance has been turned on on C-Chain; the first proposal is yet to be voted and we are looking forward to seeing what is going to be.
Next on Bao Finance: after completing the expansion on the xDai network, it’s ready to open to new horizons. The proposal for coming to Avalanche, in particular Yetiswap is yet to be approved but we are pretty sure it’s going to happen.
A new NFT collection in the market: Elk Finance is going to launch it, called Moose. They already scheduled a few airdrops: to see all the requirements to participate, visit their channels.
Later in the news: Sushiswap, touching different chains, opened to Avalanche and the public thinks that Uniswap is going to do it as well really soon; no official news but for sure we’ll keep following any further detail.
Fai Protocol, really similar to the unfortunate Fei Protocol, is launched today, a brand new stablecoin. And guess what? Of course: an airdrop is coming as well.
This week in Avascan
We have now mapped over 410 validators and over 4500 addresses both with the Validator Claim Program and our forensics work on-chain!

What’s new on Avascan
- We upgraded the search bar: you will be able to search addresses and assets on X-Chain, tokens on C-Chain, and validators and delegations on P-Chain, with more features coming soon;
- A new API just born: Burned fees. This endpoint provides aggregated data about burned fees, no Request parameter is required. Data provided are only related to X-Chain and C-Chain for now. They will be updated with data from P-Chain once Norge 2.0 is out. Link

We’re working on a lot of new improvements and special pages to show more data about the new Dapps and tokens:
- Burned AVAX: a special page that includes detailed information about AVAX fees burned on C-Chain first, and then on X-Chain and P-Chain. Is should be live sometime in April
- Bridge: a very complex but comprehensive page that shows the flow of value from Avalanche to external blockchains and vice versa. Chainbridge page should be live sometime in April, with more bridge-specific pages coming in the future.
- DEX: we know that there’s an official dashboard to check the liquidity pool and pairs, but we’re working on a detailed contract page that highlights useful information about burning rate, transactions, etc. It should be live in May, and more specific pages will come in the future.
- Bridged tokens: a special page that shows granular data about official ARC-20 versions of ERC-20 tokens ported from Ethereum. Expected release: June 2021
- NFTs: lists and details pages dedicated to Non-Fungible Tokens, both on X-Chain and C-Chain. Expected release: June 2021
- Supply: a more comprehensive page with details on AVAX supply and flows of the native token. Expected release: Q2 2021
Bonus: we’re working on a new small section in the C-Chain Overview page named Hot Dapps Right Now. You guess what’s that about ;) It should be live as soon as next week, if everything goes smooth.
And, of course, we’re also continuing the development of Norge 2.0, that will take a couple of months to be completed.
We want to hear your feedback: head to our Changemap page to request new features or report bugs, and start a conversation in the #feedback channel in our Discord server or in the Telegram community.
Thank you for reading, see you next week!
