A new kind of analytics
This week, we released a new statistics page when we started the Avalanche Bridge with Ava Labs, BWareLabs and Halborn.
This new page, the Bridge Details page, is a new kind of page that brings Avascan one step further to being the most complete DeFi explorer, other than a blockchains explorer.
This is not a single page: we’ve been planning this for months now, and the page doesn’t even have a lot of the features we planned. It will be an iterative work, and this is v1: new versions of the Bridge Details page will bring more charts, data and attributes about the tokens bridged.
The question is: did you see a page like this on any other explorer you visited? We don’t think so, because we’re thinking everything from scratch: we know addresses can have a life of their own on-chain, and that’s what we’re trying to represent.
The Bridge Details page is just the first step, and we will build more pages like this for all the bridges on Avalanche, and also for other types of dapps like DEXs, NFT marketplaces and more.
Discover DeFi on Avalanche with Avascan
A couple of months ago, we launched the DeFi Avalanche Telegram community to track and discuss all-things-DeFi on Avalanche: over 720 members already joined!
This is what users tell about the group:
“You’ve found a gem group”
“This is definitely a more civilized level headed chat”
“It’s impossible to keep up with the trading channel. You can have a real discussion here, there’s been some good chat & insights”
”Even though I haven’t been able to check as often as I like, there’s always solid analysis & commentary here & now one of my pinned groups in my AVAX folder. cheers!”
This is the best avalanche group that I know of. At least people make sense and actually communicate!!
”This channel is truly one of the more valuable resources in Avalanche, where members are often treated to quality, thoughtful analysis and conversations about the ecosystem. I hope the urge to be non-confrontational does not override the healthy need to moderate destabilizing behavior.”
What’s new on Avascan
Whale transactions: we finally released the page, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. We now show transactions that are equal or exceed 100,000 AVAX in AVAX on X-Chain and C-Chain. Future versions of this page will include showing transactions that are equal or exceed 100,000 AVAX in any token, support for P-Chain addresses and for historical prices.
Bridge Details page: the new statistics page is just a first version of what we will see in the near future, with detailed data for every bridge and also aggregated data across all bridges. And that’s all for free. Can you believe it?

Hot Dapps: this is going to be huge. With the same tech we’re using for whale transactions, we will be able to sort dapps by the ones that are most used on the network. This should be out by the end of summer;
Of course, we’re also continuing the development of Norge 2.0, that will take yet a few weeks to be completed.
We want to hear your feedback: head to our Changemap page to request new features or report bugs, and start a conversation in the #feedback channel in our Discord server or in the Telegram community.
